First at Lisbon AI translation company Unbabel, then in Berlin with content management platforms Contentful and Uniform before joining Swiss DXP Magnolia, where he leads the Product Marketing, Content and Partner Marketing teams. Despite living in new countries, his product marketing skills have (thankfully) progressed much faster than his language skills.

Is category creation worth the hype?
Category creation has been a Marketing buzzword for a few years now - you may even have tried it yourself. When Jamie led Product Marketing at a series A startup, he actually did it. He even got a three-letter acronym that got competitor adoption, analyst validation and even early customer acceptance! However, we also learned that creating the category is only the first step in a long journey, and it takes a lot more than three letters to build a market.
