Aayur Kaul is an ex-founder and seasoned product leader with over 10 years of experience in product management, growth, and marketing. He has successfully scaled products and platforms across different growth stages—from 0 to 1 (Chase), 1 to 10 (Operabase), and 10 to 100 (Skillshare)—with a strong focus on the entire user journey, including acquisition, product adoption, retention, and monetisation. Aayur’s professional journey began with the co-founding of Chase in 2018, one of India’s leading digital platforms for creative learning. Under his leadership, the platform grew significantly, ultimately leading to its acquisition by BitClass in 2021. As the Product and Growth Head at Skillshare for India, Aayur drove double-digit annual growth, positioning India as the third-largest market for Skillshare globally. More recently, Aayur has been working with Operabase.com (Arts Consolidated), a niche startup, where he has continued to apply his expertise in ML-driven personalisation, user acquisition, and retention strategies within fast-paced, global environments. He has a proven track record in: - Developing ML-based recommendation engines - Optimising conversion funnels - Improving user engagement - Leading cross-functional teams - Expanding into new markets Aayur holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, with a CGPA of 3.6 and a specialisation in marketing.
