Katie
Yeigh
Director, Product Marketing
Salesforce
Katie Yeigh is a marketing leader with over 15 years of experience in B2B SaaS, on a mission to take intimidating concepts and make them approachable. She believes clarity isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s something marketing leaders owe to both employees and customers. As a Director of Product Marketing at Salesforce, she’s built high-performing teams, launched multimillion-dollar products, and challenged herself and her coworkers to ask "why?" until they can be certain they're doing things intentionally, rather than out of habit. She earned her MBA from Gonzaga University and is emphatic that marketers should play a role in defining company strategy. Outside of work, Katie is an enthusiastic traveler who has explored six continents, a voracious reader of historical fiction and mystery novels, and a happily mediocre painter, embracing it as a reminder that not everything needs to be about excellence.

Winning hearts, not eye-rolls: The PMM's guide to customer-centric messaging
Marketers are great at breaking through the noise—but what if the biggest thing getting in our way is… us? Too often, we craft messaging based on what we want to say, what makes us sound impressive, or what will look good to our boss—rather than what our customers actually need to hear. In this session, Katie will show you how to shift from ego-driven messaging to clear, customer-focused communication that truly resonates. Key takeaways: - Spot (and fix) the messaging mistakes that make customers roll their eyes. - Cut the fluff and craft messaging that actually resonates with your audience. - Strike the right balance between brand storytelling and customer relevance. - Learn from real-world marketing missteps—and how to avoid them. - Walk away with practical strategies to create messaging that wins hearts, not just stakeholder approval.
