Jeanne Fu is a strategic leader, storyteller, and connector who thrives on making people feel seen — whether customers, colleagues, or communities. With nearly two decades of experience across traditional and digital marketing, she harnesses her superpower of connecting the dots across the customer journey to drive both business outcomes and personal growth. As Senior Vice President, Direct Marketing at M&T Bank, Jeanne leads lifecycle marketing teams across email and direct mail while spearheading omnichannel marketing strategies that bridge brand and performance marketing. Previously, she led performance marketing teams across paid, owned, and earned media. Her career journey spans London, New York, and remote offices across the U.S., with a track record of building high-performing teams and creating meaningful customer experiences. A former philosophy scholar, university tutor, and rock climbing coach, Jeanne brings a unique perspective to leadership — one rooted in helping people expand their confidence, push past perceived limits, and achieve transformative growth. Jeanne holds a Master of Philosophy from the University of London and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University. A proud second-generation Chinese American and native New Yorker, she is a polyglot, avid outdoor adventurer, and recovering academic who speaks German, Shanghainese, and Spanish.
