Director of Product Marketing
Uber
Rocio Wellington believes that great product marketing is as much about empathy as it is about execution. As Director of Product Marketing for Drivers and Couriers at Uber, she helps shape the way millions of people earn on the Uber platform—bridging driver and courier needs with business strategy to drive meaningful impact at scale. With roots in engineering from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard, Rocio has built her career at the intersection of strategic rigor and creative intuition. From leading channel marketing at Meta to revitalizing legacy brands at Clorox, she’s navigated everything from scrappy startup moments to complex enterprise ecosystems. She thrives in ambiguity, aligns stakeholders around a shared vision, and makes the case for the customer at every turn. Outside of work, Rocio lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two energetic sons, aged 7 and 10. Her life is full—of laughter, legos, and early morning Peloton workouts that keep her sane. She's passionate about elevating women in tech, building high-performing teams, and finding joy in the chaos.
