Creative storytelling: Marketing in healthcare
Healthcare marketing sits in a strange spot: it needs the same creative spark as any other industry, but every idea has to survive a gauntlet of legal review, compliance checks, and regulations that can shut a campaign down before it ever reaches an audience. HIPAA, FDA guidelines, medical accuracy requirements and internal legal teams all have a say before a single word goes public, and what counts as "compliant" can shift depending on the audience, the channel and the claim being made. In this session, we'll dig into how healthcare marketers keep their storytelling human and compelling inside those constraints, where the real friction points are in the approval process, and what it actually takes to build creative work that clears every hurdle without losing its voice along the way. Expect honest talk about the tradeoffs, not a highlight reel.
