Danny is Head of Product Marketing for the SAP Business Network where he leads a team of product marketers to build a new marketing strategy for SAP Business Network suppliers. He has also led product marketing work on SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and SAP Business AI solutions. Prior to SAP, he served as Head of Product Marketing for project44 a supply chain visibility provider, and Gogo an inflight internet provider. Before that, he spent a dozen years leading teams responsible for product management and go-to-market strategies on a global basis. He has 20+ years of experience in the tech industry, working on both B2B and B2C products. Danny has a Chemical Engineering degree from Miami University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Chicagoland with his wife, two daughters, and a house full of pets.

Compare and contrast: Product marketing at small scale-ups vs. enterprise giants
Over the last 20 years, Danny Sack worked at seven different companies in a product marketing role. Three of those companies would be considered small, two medium, and two would be considered large. This session will compare and contrast the differences between working in a start-up (Danny was employee 100 at project44) and working at a behemoth organization (SAP employs more than 100,000 people on a global basis). How does the work differ, how should you consider a role at each organization, and what are some pitfalls to avoid along the way?
